I am submitting to you my candidate for Business of the Month- J2 Solutions, Inc.

I read an article in the Sarasota Herald Tribune about Jess Fronckowiak, President of J2 Solutions. The article was about his particular business model that he had developed. It was very intriguing to me. I am a retired builder and he sounded very professional to me.

So I invited him to bid on a new Garage that I planned to build. He personally came to my home on Longboat Key to begin the bid process. I then had to wait over a year to begin the process of construction. I did get another bid from a friend that builds on Longboat Key. J2 Solutions was substantially below the bid I received from my 'friend'.

Despite the long wait to get the business, J2 Solutions maintained a regular follow up with me, which is rare among contractors.

I had particular requirement that they build the garage as quickly as possible for me. The said this normally takes 90 days to complete. In my case the work was completely done in 57 days. I was very pleased with this as you might imagine.

They always communicated with me on every detail of the job and when it would occur. They also had a job progress report on-line so that I could access events directly from my computer. Nice touch.

We are located in a coastal high velocity zone which requires much more stringent construction standards to be met. They passed our local code enforcement inspections every time with a single exception. Longboat Key has very high standards for builders to meet. J2 Solutions excelled and, in fact, the inspector told me on the final inspection that he did not know this builder but he complimented him on doing the job so well. He said the sub-contractors did work that was almost flawless which he found somewhat unusual in his normal inspections of other contractor’s jobs.

I had been somewhat concerned that we were located far enough from Venice that we might be treated somewhat casually because of the distance the tradesmen would have to travel. This was absolutely not the case. Every date for each part of the project was met or I was forewarned of a possible delay. This only happened twice.

Josh Fronckowiak handled all the on-site construction details and he was excellent.

The Company oozed integrity in every dealing I had with them. That in itself is somewhat rare in the construction business.

I made several changes in the course of the project and these changes were fairly priced and handled instantly.

I guess you would say that I am a very satisfied customer of J2 Solutions.

I would like to see them awarded the “business of the month” by the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce because in my experience they are the business of the month.

When we decided to build a garage/barn for our recreational vehicle, (RV) and boat, we wanted to serve as our own contractor to save money. We began the process by securing bids from various contractors as well as sub-contractors. At first, we were confident we could save 20% or more by acting as our own contractor. To our surprise when the sub-contractor’s individual bids were totaled, they were higher than Mr. Fronckowiak’s bid.

We reconsidered Mr. Jess Fronckowiak of J2 Solutions, Inc. Then we checked with, not only his supplied references, but also the Better Business Bureau and the Chamber of Commerce in the area. We heard only favorable comments on his integrity, his diligence, and the quality of his work. We finally selected J2 Solutions, Inc. to be our contractor to build our RV garage/barn and have not had one single regret.

Jess presented himself professionally at the outset of the work and finished our building in the same professional manner in which he began the work. His attention to detail, his clear communication to us, and the quality of his work are of the highest order we have ever seen.

Not only did he build the building to our specifications but he also recommended improvements and minor modifications from his experience which we would not have considered. His crews were polite, professional and caused the least amount of impact to our daily routines as they went about their work. Jess requires the highest of interface from his subs with his customers and insures the highest quality of work from all who work for him.

When the inevitable delays caused deviations of as little as a day Jess would immediately inform us of the conflict or shortage of supplies and let us know he was on top of the work and how he was resolving the obstacles. Not only did he keep us informed of changes but he aggressively worked to keep our project on schedule as he adjusted the sequence of work.

In summary, we could not recommend a contractor any higher than Jess Fronckowiak. Anyone needing a contractor will have to look a long time to find one who offers similar high quality, reasonably priced solutions and who has the same genuine concern for his customers as Jess Fronckowiak

Last year my Wife and I hired Jess Fronckowiak & J2 Solutions, Inc, for a construction project at our home. Our job was rather unique due to the nearly in-accessibility of our back yard, yet they were able to accomplish the task with out disturbing my yard, or disrupting my neighbors.

I felt that Jess was extremely detailed in his proposal; he gave us plenty of information, direction and advice, which we greatly appreciated.  When we awarded him the job, he and his crew showed up as promised, they preformed the job on a timely manner, it was great that through out the construction process there were no monetary surprises either. His on-going communication was also very important to my wife and myself.

I know that Jess had a lot of jobs going on at once during our project however he made us feel that we where a top priority for him, as I am sure he made all of his clients feel.

I currently work for the Sarasota County Building Department and Land Development Services. As a Development Review Coordinator I deal with a number of Building Contractors, Engineers and Surveyors on a regular basis and I felt that Jess and his company operated with a high level of professionalism. If I were ever in need of any construction work again, I wouldn’t hesitate to contact him.
